WARNING: If you ever hear a little dog barking in the background of any of my videos, that would be Coco. She is a "rescue" dog and has serious issues with trucks, especially on Wednesdays (aka "garbage day"). Coco's barking drives us crazy, but we love her anyway.
Tech Savvy
We are a very tech savvy household… complete with cell phones, laptops, netbooks, desktops, printers, scanners, modems, routers, and wireless internet. In our house we have both Mac & Window’s devices. I guess we’re still battling it out which one of these Operating System best suits our needs. I’ll let you know… when there’s a winner.
Prior to being a homeschooling/work-at-home mother, I was employed for over 15 years in the computer industry. These are just a few of the positions I held: Information Specialist, Instructional Designer, Computer Trainer, and Technical Writer. The common thread of all these positions, was my keen ability to wade through tons of technical information ... and package the results in a simple user-friendly manner.
My goal in creating the Homeschool Tech Mom blog, is to deliver information in a way that homeschool parents can easily understand, regardless of their technical expertise. I hope to provide you with a wealth of information, in small bite-size pieces, that you can use in your homeschool journey.
